Our production is divided between the HSM mixer line for high-capacity industrial production plants, with the possibility of customizing the supply in various ways, such as ingredient feeding, dough discharge directly onto the customer's feeding device, or software interface with the central IT system of the production plant to control the machinery in the production line.

Alternatively, a simpler and less customized HMB mixer line is available, offering a reliable and cost-effective solution for lower capacity and less automated production lines.

With reduced power and capacity compared to standard models, these mixers are ideal for lower volume productions, ensuring efficiency and quality at a lower cost.

The supporting structures are treated with a polyurethane enamel to ensure resistance and durability over time. Increasingly, we supply our machines with a completely stainless steel AISI 304 structure. The protective panels are always provided in stainless steel and can be easily opened or removed, allowing access for maintenance operations.

The containment bowls are made of AISI 304 stainless steel and include a forced circulation system for the cooling and heating liquid, ensuring precise control of the dough temperature. The latter is constantly monitored by a PT100 sensor, ensuring optimal conditions at every stage of the production process.

The dough mixing occurs through a rotating mixing arm with an exclusive drop profile, developed by Silvestri to ensure high ingredient homogeneity.

The absence of a central passing shaft facilitates the discharge of the finished dough and makes cleaning and sanitizing the bowl easier. This solution has been adopted since the early productions of mixers in the early 1980s, later followed by our competitors over the years.

The mixing arm, made of stainless steel casting, is driven by an oil-bath gear reducer, ensuring robustness and durability over time.

Our machines are equipped with a sealing system using food-grade polyurethane lip seals, which ensure the dough does not escape from the mixing bowl during operation, even with particularly abrasive ingredients.

Recently, an evolution of the HSM line has been introduced, featuring removable seals for the rotating shafts, allowing the seals to be replaced from the outside without disassembling the machine's mechanics, saving considerable time and resource.

The mixing bowl is equipped with a hydraulic tilting system that allows an inclination up to 170°, ensuring efficient and complete dough discharge. For even more versatile use, a gear mechanism is available that allows double tilting, both front for dough discharge and rear for manual loading of minor ingredients and cleaning operations.

Additionally, the bowl can be stopped in any position, allowing the addition of ingredients during the mixing process and optimal production flexibility.

The bowl is equipped with a fixed lid with a dust-tight rubber seal, designed to keep the work environment clean and safe. The lid also includes connections for automatic ingredient loading and, upon request, a practical opening hatch that allows manual loading from above, ensuring maximum operational versatility.

For the double-tilting bowl variants, the upper lid can be lifted by pneumatic actuators, which still ensure dust-tightness during ingredient loading and dough mixing.

The main motor of our industrial horizontal mixers transmits movement to the reducer via V-shaped trapezoidal belts, designed to reduce any jerks during the mixing process. Solutions are available with a single-polarity motor controlled by an inverter, allowing the mixing speed to be adjusted between 20 and 60 rpm, or with a dual-polarity motor that offers two preset speeds for simpler solutions.

The Electrical Panel is housed in a waterproof IP66 metal cabinet, made of stainless steel and integrated into the machine structure to ensure maximum protection and durability. Built in compliance with the latest safety regulations, it uses a standard supply voltage of 400 V - 50 Hz, with different supply voltages and frequencies available upon request.

The control panel of the industrial horizontal mixers, located at the front of the mixer, is equipped with a touch screen and a PLC for managing automatic cycles. A recipe control option is also available for even more precise management.

All our mixers are equipped with a router that allows remote assistance for the software and electronic devices such as the PLC, control panel, and inverter.

Alternatively, the machine can be equipped with a timer and buttons for manual control, offering an excellent compromise based on budget requirements.
