Silvestri horizontal industrial mixers with double Z-shaped mixing arms are designed to offer high performance and speed in the production of dough for cookies, crackers, and leavened doughs in general.

They are especially suitable for mixing very stiff doughs like gingerbread or dog food. They are extremely adaptable, with the ability to separately adjust the speeds of the two mixers, allowing for excellent doughs to be obtained in shorter times.

The supporting structures are treated with a polyurethane enamel to ensure resistance and durability over time. Increasingly, we supply our machines with a structure entirely made of AISI 304 stainless steel. The protective panels are always provided in stainless steel and can be easily opened or removed, allowing access for maintenance operations.

The containment tanks are made of AISI 304 stainless steel and include a forced circulation system for the cooling and heating liquid, ensuring precise control of the dough temperature. The latter is constantly monitored by a PT100 sensor, ensuring optimal conditions at every stage of the production process.

The dough mixing takes place through two Z-shaped mixing arms rotating in opposite directions, ensuring high homogeneity of the ingredients. The absence of a central passing shaft facilitates the discharge of the finished dough and makes cleaning and sanitizing the bowl easier.

The mixing arms, made of cast stainless steel, are driven by a mechanical gear reducer in an oil bath, ensuring robustness and durability over time.

Each arm is operated independently with the ability to adjust the mixing speeds differently between the two axes, making the solution very flexible and adaptable even to the most demanding doughs.

Our machines are equipped with a sealing system using food-grade polyurethane lip seals, which ensure the dough does not escape from the mixing bowl during operation, even with particularly abrasive ingredients.

The seals can be removed from the outside without having to disassemble the machine's mechanics, saving considerable time and resources.

The mixing bowl is equipped with a mechanical tilting system with gear wheels that allows an inclination of up to 150°, ensuring efficient and complete discharge of the dough. For even more versatile use, a mechanism is available which allows double tilting, both front for dough discharge and rear for manual loading of minor ingredients and cleaning operations.

Additionally, the bowl can be stopped in any position, allowing the addition of ingredients during the mixing process for optimal production flexibility.

The bowl is equipped with a lid with a dust-proof rubber seal, designed to keep the work environment clean and safe. The lid also includes connections for automatic ingredient loading and, upon request, a practical opening hatch that allows manual loading from above, ensuring maximum operational versatility.

For the double-tilting bowl versions, the upper lid is liftable through pneumatic actuators, which still ensure dust-tightness during ingredient loading and dough mixing.

The main gear motor of our industrial horizontal mixers with double arms transmits the movement to the mixing arm reducer through gears, independently for each axis. The control through inverter allows the mixing speed to be adjusted between 15 and 60 rpm, providing maximum flexibility of solutions based on the product to be mixed.

The Electrical Panel is housed in an IP66 waterproof metal cabinet, made of stainless steel and integrated into the machine structure to ensure maximum protection and durability. Built in compliance with the latest safety regulations, it uses a standard power supply voltage of 400 V - 50 Hz, with different voltages and frequencies available upon request.

The control panel of the industrial horizontal mixers with double arms, located at the front of the mixer, is equipped with a touch screen and a PLC for managing automatic cycles. A recipe control option is also available for even more precise management.
